Scientists: Antibiotic ciprofloxacin destroys the DNA of cells in the human body

Currently, ciprofloxocin is often used to treat infections of the genitourinary system, ear disorders and flu. Use of the help of this antibiotic is only possible as a last resort according to the recommendation of the doctor.

Finnish scientists have conducted tests and found that ciprofloxacin is very harmful to the human body. This antibiotic destroys the DNA of our body cells. It disrupts energy metabolism in the mitochondria and blocks cell growth. All of this has a detrimental effect on the health of patients. According to scientists, ciprofloxacin paralyzes more than it heals a person, but at the same time they have not yet come up with a more effective medicine to eradicate infections.

This antibiotic is dangerous because of the presence of fluoroquinolones. These substances can, if abused, cause inflammation and dystrophy of the tendons. In extreme cases, connective tissue can easily rupture. Scientists advise to use ciprofloxacin only in extreme cases, when it is absolutely impossible to do without.
